Litigation and Appeals

There are times when it is impossible to negotiate a divorce or other family dispute.  The other party may be unable or unwilling to negotiate, or the issues may be truly irreconcilable. At these times, an experienced trial attorney can be a family law client’s best friend. My decades as a trial lawyer have trained me to pursue traditional settlement negotiations when both parties cannot agree on an alternative dispute resolution process, or to skillfully and steadfastly pursue my clients’ goals in court when settling is not an option.

Judge Gavel

Once a decision is entered by a court, one or both parties may appeal it to a higher court.  I have represented clients in dozens of appeals in my more than two decades practicing family law, to the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and even the United States Supreme Court.
